We are thrilled to present our new program, Natural Hair Care 101, which is a four-week certification course that covers a variety of topics related to hair care. These include product knowledge, heating tools, and braiding fundamentals, as well as instructions on natural hair styling, deluxe silk press, curling and styling, cutting, sew-in, and quick weave basics. The complete kit is included in the program pricing.
Our experienced instructors are dedicated to providing a supportive and hands-on learning environment to help our students gain the skills necessary to pursue a career in the hair industry.
Our program consists of four weeks of classes:
Week 1: The Art Of Haircare (Theory, Product Introduction & Usage, Techniques, Blow Dry and Heating Tools)
Week 2: The Art Of Braiding (Braiding Basics and Weave Foundations)
Week 3: The Art Of Hair Extensions (Introduction to Sew Ins & Quick weaves, Curling and styling Extensions)
Week 4: The Art Of Natural Hair Styling:(The Deluxe Silk Press, Curling and Styling, Hair cutting Basics).
Entrepreneurship (Business Model, Service Pricing, Scheduling, Expenses)
Graduation (Certification In Natural Hair Styling)scheduled separately
After completing the course, students will be trained to start their own natural hair styling business in the hair industry. We can assist with job placement upon request. A meal will be provided for each class.
What The Follicle Hair Academy offers payment options, including installment plans, to cover tuition. Please note that we require a non-refundable deposit of $250 to secure a student's spot in the program, which will be applied toward the total tuition cost.
